Spanish Lessons
Robert has been busy. Each night he stays up late studying Argentine Spanish. He watches Argentine television in order to master conversational complexities. Spanish, as it is spoken in Argentina, like the people themselves, is nuanced and subdued.

Visiting
Last night the Pierce family was fortunate enough to be host to Carlos Gutierrez, who was in San Francisco on one of his many business trips. Carlos came by after work for dinner, wine and lively conversation about marriage, politics and hopes for the future. We learned that Carlos’s parents, Lupe and Delia, had their 50th wedding anniversary last week. Congratulations! We heard that Kelly is doing well with her involvement with the local school board. We cherish our friendship with Guitierrez’s and hope to spend lots of time with them in the upcoming years.
