Well, we thought we would check out that television show that our parents used to watch on PBS about a hundred years ago. I can still recall it. Being up late and finding my parents watching a televisions series about people in Roman times, all wearing togas and, unexplainably, speaking with British accents. The show, I Claudius. Adapted from the famous novel. Neither of us liked it as kids. A lot of hushed speaking in a strange language, not much action as we can recall.
We rented six episodes from Netflix and, to our shared surprise, it still sucks. It is just like we remembered it. People whispering, looking very serious, and nothing really happening. Apparently the whole show is about a woman who kills everyone. Sadly, another thing I did not recall is that most of the cast are just too ugly to be on television. So, back those disks went.
