Waning days of summer still allow some after dinner b-ball at the Meadows.

Robert, Rory and Cadie went camping this weekend at Fallen Leaf Lake near Tahoe. Jakob and Caroline Gron joined in the fun. Actually, it was a fishing trip.  Rory caught one (two-incher).

Did you know that Lake Tahoe holds 38 trillion gallons of water? Enough to cover the entire state with 14 inches of water?

Yesterday the Pierces were happy to host Marjorie Swanson and her son Peter for dinner and discussion.  And John came too. Marjorie came out from Minnesota for a visit! She is the cousin  of John Schwirtz (his father’s sister’s daughter).

Wow, Robert really likes these lessons on California school funding.
